The light rough surface is resistant to erasures and scraping and creates enough friction to grab properly applied pigments. It is recommended for students, artists' and amateurs for fast sketching and drawing with pencil, charcoal, graphite, redchalk pastel & chalk. Also recommended for oil pastel & wax crayon.
